Are you struggling with writing in Italian? The Dante Italian Language School is launching a brand new short course that will teach you how to write in Italian for formal & informal occasions – from postcards and best wishes to cover letters!
In 4 meetings, you will analyse different examples and through simple and fun exercises, you will put what you learned into practice.
May 6, May 13, May 20 & May 27, 2022 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm (Pacific Time)
Classes will be in ITALIAN - On Zoom We recommend an Intermediate level of Italian language
During the course we will go through: Formal letters (requests of information, complaints, letter to a teacher, cover letter, CV, etc.): There are many occasions when formality is required in written communication and the correct use of Italian can make a difference to the perception of our intentions and cultural level.
Informal letters (letters and emails to distant friends/relatives, pen-pals, love letters, etc.): Keeping in touch with loved ones through letters can do many things, from feeling closer to one another to being able to communicate things that otherwise would remain unspoken. Plus, don't you find it exciting when you find an envelope in the letterbox...or in your email?
Greeting cards for any special occasion: Any special occasion that includes us or the people we love can be an opportunity for us to express feelings. Being able to communicate our emotions and closeness to others helps us feel part of the lives of those we love and esteem. Short messages (text messages, abbreviations): Brief does not mean a lack of content. We can be effective and incisive with a few
well-written words. The fast and dynamic language of our times is also reflected
in communications. Let's look at that together!
Course Fee: $120 (tax incl.)*
