About the event:

Fabrizio Nava will draw on his recent book "True North. Journey into the identity of Canada" (Rubbettino Editore) to explore what it means to be a Canadian nowadays and whether lessons from a multicultural society and its involvement in peacekeeping efforts globally can aid in navigating the complexities of an increasingly fractured world marked by conflicting elements and perspectives.

About the speaker:

Fabrizio Nava joined the diplomatic service in 1995, holding various roles at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. His postings included the Italian Embassies in New Delhi and Ottawa, where he served as Head of the Commercial Office and later as Deputy Head of Mission. Additionally, he served as Consul General in Houston (TX-USA). Currently stationed in Warsaw at the OSCE's Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, he leads the Office of the Director. Nava is also the author of "True North - Journey into the Identity of Canada" (Rubbettino Editore).
