The nomination of the cinquina (five titles) was held in the beautiful Teatro Romano in the city of Benevento. Even though hugs and handshakes were still not allowed due to the pandemic, the ceremony was a small step forward towards normality. At last, the five contestants could be on stage facing the public (well distanced and with masks) instead of talking to an empty Temple of Hadrian, in Rome, like the year before.
